I am quite clumsy when it comes to transfering the pattern to the nail. Some time ago I found a really helpful video with an alternative methode. Furthermore with this methode you can bring more colour to your design. Instead of pressing the pattern directly from the stamp to your nail you paint the pattern directly on the stamp.
I used these:
- essie Snap Happy
- kiko 391 Grass Green
- a normal top coat
- A dotting tool (for example from Juliana Nails) and a transparent film
How it works:
- Get the pattern on the stamp
- Give a little bit of the nail polish on the transparent film
- Paint the colours with a dotting tool directly on the stamp - let it dry
- Seal it with the top coat - let it dry
- Remove the pattern CAREFULLY with the dotting tool and press the "sticker" to your nail.
- Remove the leftovers with a nail scissor and file.
And here is the result. On my thumb I did the colourful pattern like described above. I have to say I think the gold-black combi is my favourite.
